Referrals and Fees
If you have been referred by your GP and have a Mental Health Care Plan you are eligible to receive up to 10 individual counselling sessions per calendar year and receive a Medicare rebate. After 6 sessions have been completed, a brief report back to your GP is made before another 4 sessions are provided.
Session cost
$150 per hour (including Medicare rebate of $87.45).These sessions will be offered via video or telephone (50 minutes)
Telehealth
During the Coronavirus (COVID-19) crisis I can also offer video or telephone sessions.
Private Health Insurance
You can self-refer and if you have private health insurance your ancillary cover may pay for Psychological services. Please check with your provider to find out more about the rebate they offer.
Cancellation Policy
24 hours notice is appreciated for cancellations or rescheduling of appointments otherwise a fee of $40 will be charged.
